| Debt-Free America was founded in July 1991 and incorporated in the State of California in August 1997. |

D.F.A. Credit Counseling's Arizona Service Center is headed by Gary R. Johnson, one of the key principals and a member of the mastermind committee who founded and structured Debt-Free America at its inception. Prior to taking his position with Debt-Free America, Mr. Johnson held the position of Regional Manager for Meredith's Mortgage Banking Operations Division in the State of Arizona. Mr. Johnson is also a member of the International Association for Financial Planning and the International Association of Financial Planners. Mr. Johnson has been actively involved in his community and was selected as one of the "Three Outstanding Young Men in Arizona" and was a nominee for the "Ten Outstanding Young Men in America." Mr. Johnson did both undergraduate and post graduate work in Economics and Business Administration at Arizona State University.
